Being a Bearcat for life means our students carry UC with them long after graduation.
For Megan Pando, Class of 2013, her time in University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning studios and University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business classrooms wasn’t just about what she learned — it was about how she learned to collaborate, build, and take risks. Those lessons helped spark Makers Social, a Columbus-based DIY project bar where people come to create and connect.
And last week? Megan took that vision to Shark Tank, where she pitched Makers Social and secured a deal with Kevin O’Leary to support the next phase of her growth.
UC prepares Bearcats to think boldly, take risks, and build their futures. Congratulations, Megan!
