Being a Bearcat for Life means more than earning a degree — it means discovering purpose and committing to service beyond the classroom. As a first-generation college student and proud Cincinnati native, Latoya Chambers, MA’s journey at the University of Cincinnati was shaped by mentorship, representation, and community through TRIO and first-generation initiatives. UC supported her academic, professional, and personal growth — reinforcing a lifelong commitment to leadership, advocacy, and creating pathways for others. Today, she gives back as a TRIO alumna and national advocate, mentor, and member of UC’s 4A Alumni Committee — continuing the cycle of access and opportunity.
