Meet Dr. Chato B. Hendrix, cheerdoc the former FAMU turned Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and first HBCU alum inducted into the National Cheerleaders Hall of Fame, which the ceremony will happen in August. 🐍🧡Dr. Chato B. Hendrix began her postsecondary education at Florida A&M University, where she cheered for three seasons while excelling academically and graduating a full year early. Following graduation, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue graduate studies at Clark Atlanta University. In 1998, she began her rookie season during a historic year for the Atlanta Falcons, cheering the team all the way to the Super Bowl held in her home state of Florida.  Chato went on to cheer for six seasons, serving as a two-year Line Captain, spearheading numerous squad initiatives, and earning the squad’s Community Service Award. 🔺Hendrix is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 🎤 Interviewed by onenonlydc . . #hbcugrad #famu #blackexcellence #historicallyblacksince
