Most people know Swami Vivekananda.
Few know the extraordinary teacher who transformed his life.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born on 18 February 1836 in Kamarpukur, West Bengal, India. His birth name was Gadadhar Chattopadhyay.
From childhood, he was deeply spiritual. While others chased success, wealth, and status, Gadadhar longed only for one thing:

He later became a priest at Dakshineswar Kali Temple near Kolkata. There, through intense devotion, prayer, meditation, and spiritual practice, he experienced profound states of God-realization.
What made him unique?
He did not simply study religions.
He practiced them.
