Happy 2023 Earth Day! Today is a day to celebrate all of the amazing things that come from our planet. The Earth is our greatest resource! We began natural dyeing with black walnuts a couple of years ago thanks to the help of Courtney Lockemer and our friends at Botanical Colors, LLC Over the next few weeks, we will knit a couple of yarn packages of this Bear Fiber, Inc. yarn, made from 70% cotton and 30% NC hemp, and conduct sample dyeing using our new color development equipment.
