On this day 63 years ago, Jibreel Khazan, David Richmond, Franklin McCain, and Joseph McNeil, decided to fight for their rights as black men at F.W. Woolworth which had a whites-only lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. These four men walked in, sat at the bar, and refused to leave after they were denied service.
