NEW SIGNING: THOMAS KENNEDY 🇨🇦🦁 London Lions are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian centre Thomas Kennedy for the 2026-27 season. The 25-year-old arrives in London with significant experience at the highest levels of European basketball, having most recently helped Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana win the Slovenian League Championship and Slovenian Supercup. Kennedy featured in 18 EuroCup games last season, averaging 7.9 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting an efficient 61.7 per cent from the field, and added a further 25 games in the ABA League, one of the toughest regional competitions in Europe. Before his move to Slovenia, he spent two seasons in the German Bundesliga with Telekom Baskets Bonn, also competing in the Basketball Champions League. A full Canadian international, Kennedy has represented his country at senior level since 2022, winning a bronze medal at the FIBA AmeriCup that year and featuring in the qualifying campaigns since.
