Quebec has OFFICIALLY become the FIRST province in Canada to BAN the sale of energy drinks to anyone under the age of 16 years old‼️😳🇨🇦 The new law, which takes effect in six months, will also make it illegal for someone to purchase energy drinks on behalf of a person under 16. The legislation defines an energy drink as a beverage containing at least 150 mg of caffeine per litre along with ingredients such as taurine, vitamins, or minerals. The bill was passed with overwhelming support in Quebec’s legislature and follows the tragic death of 15-year-old Zachary Miron in 2024. His family says the energy drink he consumed interacted with his ADHD medication, leading to his death. Health officials have also raised concerns over rising consumption among youth, with energy drink use among Quebec high school students nearly doubling between 2016 and 2023. What do you think? Should the rest of Canada adopt similar rules? Thoughts on this⁉️🤔⤵️ . . . . #Gatineau #Canada #EnergyDrinks #On...
