In honor of Women’s History Month, the ND Club of Los Angeles is proud to feature Shawtina Lewis in our inaugural Spotlight Series. The Journey of a "Double Domer" A Los Angeles native, Shawtina earned her undergraduate degree in American Studies ('05) before returning to campus for her Juris Doctor ('08). During law school, she was a Teaching Assistant, a member of the Black Law Student Association, and a competitor in the Client Counseling Competition. Her favorite campus memory? Well-earned breaks at South Dining Hall. Professional Excellence Shawtina is an equity partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, an Am Law 60 firm. She represents Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes complex litigation across California. Beyond her practice, she serves on the firm’s Counsel Committee and leads various mentorship initiatives.
