BMW just did something they've never done before: put all-wheel drive in the M2. The 2027 BMW M2 with M xDrive is here, and it changes the M2 lineup in ways that go beyond just adding a front driveshaft.
Here's the short version: the xDrive M2 is 0.3 seconds quicker to 60 mph (3.6 seconds, or 3.3 with rollout), 185 lbs heavier than the standard car, $4,225 more expensive, and it does not offer a manual gearbox.
And then there is the color. Borusan Turkish Blue from BMW Individual is available on an M2 for the first time — and only on the xDrive model.
