Sega officially revealed Crazy Taxi: World Tour during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, bringing back the franchise’s signature high-speed arcade driving. The game follows original driver Axel as he travels across five cities around the world to track down thieves who stole his taxi. Players can expect open-world exploration, dynamic maps, side missions, deep vehicle customization, and the classic race-against-the-clock gameplay that made the original a fan favorite. Sega is also introducing online multiplayer, allowing players to compete with friends for fares and bragging rights. The reveal trailer leaned heavily into the series’ nostalgic roots while modernizing the experience for current-generation hardware.
