Your arches didn’t fail. Your glutes, hips, and ankles failed your arches. 3 exercises rebuild the whole chain.
Everybody blames the feet when arches collapse. But your feet might be the hardest working part of your body right now.
When the gluteus medius stops firing and the deep hip rotators stiffen up, your pelvis loses its stability platform. The body doesn’t just accept instability, it reroutes the workload downward. Your ankles start over-pronating to find a stable base. Your tibialis posterior, the muscle that suspends your arch like a cable, gets overloaded trying to hold a structure together that was never meant to carry the burden alone.
That’s why isolated foot exercises often fail. You strengthen the foot in isolation, but the demand from above never changes. The arch collapses again because the glutes and hip rotators still aren’t contributing. You have to rebuild the chain from both ends at the same time, foot stability and hip activation in the same session.
