@rhode skin launched a highlighting milk and I have some thoughts…💭 My main question for all of you is: do we think products like this eventually going to replace traditional primers? Is it already happening? The thing that immediately stood out to me is just how fluid this formula is. It’s much thinner and more serum like than a lot of the glowy primers we’ve seen over the years, which makes it feel really lightweight on the skin and easy to spread. It almost sits somewhere between primer, makeup, and liquid highlighter. It also has that tackiness you’d get from a primer so it definitely dances into the skin prep land too. That said, for my personal taste and skin type it’s a little too pearly! But if you really love radiant, lightweight formulas I can absolutely see the appeal. I’ve actually been loving @Aora Makeup US’s gel version of this concept lately. It gives me that glow and can act as a primer too but without quite as much fluidity, which I personally prefer.
