Anthony Volpe heard all the noise from the baseball fans. At one point this season, the shortstop was optioned to Triple-A and looked like a baseball player whose future on the New York Yankees historical ball club was suddenly being questioned. The NY Yankees called him back up after injuries to Oswaldo Cabrera and Jose Caballero opened a spot, and many MLB fans viewed it as nothing more than a temporary solution.
