Iran remained the central focus of discussions as G7 leaders gathered for a second day of talks in Evian, France.
US President Donald Trump said negotiations had moved into "phase two" following a newly announced agreement with Iran, adding that the next stage of talks could progress quickly.
But questions remain among G7 members over the details of the deal, including Iran's nuclear programme and the future of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Leaders are also discussing Ukraine, with Trump meeting President Volodymyr Zelensky and reiterating calls for Russia to reach a deal to end the conflict.
The three-day summit has brought together leaders from the world's major advanced economies to address security, economic and geopolitical challenges.
