Coney Island Mermaid Parade June 20 🧜‍♀️ The MermaidParade is such a unique New York City free event and it’s happening this Saturday! The Mermaid Parade is the largest art parade in the United States and has been a coneyislandfun Island staple since 1983. It’s free to attend: you get to see so many incredible mermaid costumes and people travel from all ove the country to attend this parade. There is live music, costumes, bands, community groups and more. This year there is also a free supergirl activation! The Parade starts at 1pm, rain or shine, on West 21st and Surf Avenue. It rolls east to West 10th Street. After the parade at 4pm, there’s a procession to the beach, and the ocean will be officially open for the summer swimming season.
