Juneteenth is coming up, so I wanted to share some of the books we’re reading with the kids ⛓️‍💥📚❤️ This list includes books about the holiday itself, including the story of Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” along with many of our favorite books about Black history, culture, and the individuals whose contributions helped shape our country. 👏🏽 One of my favorite ways to engage with my kids is through stories.
