This speech took me 3 weeks to finalize. The question was never how to make a good speech, but how can I make a speech to honor the people who uplifted me, and sacrificed so much for me to be here. Graduating would never have been possible without my mother, so this speech is dedicated to her. She took care of me when another parent decided to walk away, she fed me no matter how little money we had, she wished me safety everytime I left the house, she chose me.
