Most athletes are waiting to feel confident before they compete🫣 The problem is confidence doesn’t just appear out of nowhere🙅‍♀️ Some days you’ll feel great. Other days you won’t. That’s why confidence can’t be based on your feelings alone. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve realized confidence is a choice😌 It’s choosing to believe you belong, even when you’re nervous. It’s choosing to trust yourself, even when things haven’t gone perfectly. Because the person you talk to the most is yourself☝️ And if you’re constantly telling yourself that you’re not ready, not good enough, or that today just isn’t your day, eventually you’ll start believing it.
