Yesterday, the Guardians and Progressive Insurance teamed up to host their Empower Sports All-Star Workout at Progressive Field for the second year! While experiencing a day in the life of a Major Leaguer, 60 Empower Sports athletes took part in on-field scrimmages, received customized lockers with Guardians jerseys, signed honorary contracts and more — all made possible by Progressive Insurance’s donation of the field for the day and the participation of roughly 50 volunteers from their office. Empower Sports is an NEO nonprofit organization that exists to enrich the lives of athletes of diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting, kindness, character and relationships. #GuardsBall
