Just one week until one of Northport’s most beloved waterfront traditions returns! On Saturday, June 13, the Northport Maritime Day & Blessing of the Fleet will bring the community together at Northport Village Park and Dock for a day celebrating the village’s rich maritime heritage. The festivities begin with the iconic Blessing of the Fleet & Boat Parade, featuring more than 100 vessels as they receive blessings from local clergy and salutes from the U.S. Coast Guard and local officials. Visitors can also enjoy dockside vessel tours, live music, marine-themed exhibits, and hands-on family activities including touch tanks, life ring tosses, and the popular Rain-Gutter Regatta for young sailors.
