Resident Evil Veronica is officially getting the modern remake treatment — and yes, it is confirmed to be a fully third-person experience.
This is not being treated like a side chapter. Capcom reportedly considers Veronica just as important as the numbered Resident Evil titles, and the remake is being handled by the same team behind Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 4 Remake. That alone says a lot about the scale they are aiming for.
Expect modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics, with certain elements being retuned for a new generation of survival horror. The Claire detail is especially interesting: this story takes place only three months after RE2, meaning she has survived Raccoon City, but she is still not quite the seasoned veteran fans know later on.
