(COM '28) Maya is a rising junior in the College of Communication studying Public Relations with minors in Hospitality and English, originally from Los Angeles, California. Maya loves BU because of the dynamic spirit of the community within the school, and how passionate her fellow students are about their interests. She's involved in PRLab prlab_bu , and really appreciates how much emphasis COM places on professional development. This past semester, Maya supervised a team to kickstart the buzz around Jazz Urbane Cafe, which is a new music venue and restaurant in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston.
