Nebraska baseball's offseason makeover is well underway following a 43-win season and the program's first NCAA Regional host since 2008. The Huskers must replace 10 graduating seniors, including Brooks Wallace Award winner Dylan Carey, who was recognized as the nation's top shortstop. Nebraska has also seen six players enter the transfer portal, highlighted by Lincoln native Max Buettenback and starting pitcher Cooper Katskee. Katskee went 6-2 this season while striking out 65 batters in 69.1 innings of work. But Will Bolt and his staff have been aggressive in adding talent. So far, Nebraska has landed four transfer commitments: Illinois left-hander Zach Bates, South Carolina infielder and outfielder Caleb Hoover, Iowa right-hander Cole Moore and former Iowa and South Carolina catcher Reese Moore.
