And now the Trump DOJ wants the case thrown out in the name of national security. xAI's Mississippi data center operates dozens of gas-burning turbines that have made it one of the country's largest producers of nitrogen oxide, a smog-forming chemical, as well as a major source of formaldehyde and other air pollutants. The NAACP's lawsuit argues this pollution disproportionately harms Black communities in the surrounding area. The Trump DOJ's response?
