It got lost in the midst of the government shutdown—but it’s a bittersweet goodbye for the final Eagles that left the Mass. Air National Guard as they ready for their new aircraft. After nearly two decades of faithful service, the last three F-15C Eagles of the 104th Fighter Wing departed Barnes ANG base, Massachusetts, on Oct 23, 2025 — marking the end of an era for the unit.
