Iran has launched a retaliatory missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the main hub for U.S. operations in the region and home to over 10,000 American personnel. The attack came just days after the U.S. struck Iranian nuclear sites in what has become the most direct exchange between the two nations in years.
