The Huskies are sending a huge congratulations to former Huskie Women’s Hockey assistant coach Christine Bumstead, who yesterday was announced as the new head coach of the PWHL’s Seattle Torrent 🏒 🥅 Bumstead joined the pwhl_torrent nearly a year ago ahead of the club’s inaugural season, serving as an assistant under head coach Steve O’Rourke. Prior to becoming the club’s first assistant coach, Bumstead spent four seasons with the huskiewhky program. During her time on the usask bench, she helped the team reach three postseason berths, along with two appearances in the usportsca National Championship.
