For the longest time, Annapurna Base Camp was just something I saw on Instagram. Every time a reel or photo popped up on my feed, I’d tell myself, “One day.”
But life kept moving. Work, responsibilities, and months went by without a single holiday. Then, after nearly three months without a break, I suddenly decided to take a trip to Nepal.
There wasn’t some grand master plan. It was a spontaneous decision. One moment I was exhausted from routine, and the next I was booking tickets and preparing for the trek I had been dreaming about for years.
The journey wasn’t always easy. Endless steps, long walking days, tired legs, unpredictable weather, and moments when all I wanted was to reach the next stop. But every challenge was worth it.
Standing at Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by those giant snow-covered peaks, it finally hit me. The place I had watched countless times on my phone screen was right in front of me.
