Guess whaaat... there’s ANOTHER hockey romance book-to-screen adaptation in the works! 🏒💙 Netflix just announced at the Banff World Media Festival that they are adapting Hannah Grace’s ‘Maple Hill’ series (starting with book one, ‘Icebreaker’) into a TV show which will be executive produced by Alex Cooper and husband Matt Kaplan via Unwell Productions. Amanda Lasher (known for ‘Gossip Girl’) and Jade Bartlett are set to write and produce. The first novel centers on the romance between figure skater Anastasia and hockey captain Nathan, followed by ‘Wildfire’ (Aurora and Russ) and ‘Daydream’ (Halle and Henry). While some fans seem excited about the announcement, others don’t think it will live up to the hype of ‘Heated Rivalry.’ 🔥 Are you excited to see ‘Icebreaker’ on screen? 👀 (📷: Getty, Simon & Schuster) #Icebreaker #Books #Hockey #TV #Netflix
