1976 …..Today, as South Africa marks the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Soweto Uprising, I’m honored to serve as the Seth Mazibuko Foundation’s Ambassador and we will be sharing the song we’re creating later this year. The work they are doing is a testament to resilience and courage. We will keep this story alive and make sure history does not repeat itself. South Africa has embraced my music, my career, and my heart. This commemoration is especially meaningful to me because this year also marks my own 50 years on earth.
