Join us Friday, July 4, as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and 100 Years of Venice with the City of Venice’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks display! 🎇 The professionally choreographed show by Zambelli Fireworks begins around 9 p.m., following a test shot between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. 🌊 Boaters: The Venice Inlet will close around 8:30 p.m. until about 30 minutes after the finale. Plan ahead and check the tide before heading out. 🐢 Protect our beaches. Sea turtle nesting season is underway, and Mote Marine Laboratory is relocating nests within the beach renourishment project area under state authorization. Watch for marked nests, respect any construction or staging areas, fill in holes, and pack in, pack out. 🔥 Reminder: The City burn ban remains in effect.
