Northwood Surfing Ends the Season on a High! 🏆🌊 Competing in softer, slower surfing conditions yesterday, our Northwood boys had to dig deep to secure a strong finish to what has been a very impressive season. In the individual finals featuring six competitors, Northwood was proudly represented by Matt Canning, Jakes Jones and Riley Balfour. Congratulations to all three boys on earning their place in the final. 🤝 A special mention to Riley, who secured 3rd place, and to Matt, who claimed 1st place in a true “buzzer beater” heat - securing the score he needed on his final wave, in the final seconds of the 20-minute heat!🔥 The Tag Team finals saw our Northwood 1st Team take the title for the third consecutive year, an outstanding achievement. 🥇 Our 2nd Team finished 5th, and our 3rd Team finished 7th, both narrowly missing out on higher positions by just half a point or a single point.
