On May 26, we hit a wonderful milestone when Sophie Sung (Speller #159 from North Carolina) took the stage and became the 14,000th participant in the 101-year history of the Scripps National Spelling Bee! 🐝 Hundreds of millions of spellers through the years, and just 14,088 of them have earned their way to the Bee. ⭐️
