Over the weekend, Thousand Oaks PD and Moorpark PD responded to a call for service reference a person possibly brandishing a knife in Thousand Oaks. Responding deputies found the female suspect driving away from the scene which was near Tuolumne Avenue. Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the female suspect failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit began. The pursuit traveled up Lynn Road and continued to Olsen Road. The female suspect committed several vehicle code violations during the pursuit. The pursuit stopped on Calle Artigas with deputies using their patrol vehicles to block the female suspect’s vehicle. The female suspect was taken into custody without further incident. The female suspect was transported and booked at the PTDF for numerous violations including exhibiting a deadly weapon, vandalism, battery, and evading. The female suspect remains in custody as of this posting. A fixed blade knife was also located in the vehicle. Great work by our patrol deputies! #photos...
