"Ukelele Joe: Chrome Robot Model" 2026 by Jack White III. "Having idolized this incredibly suave Ukelele Joe character for so many years, I kept imagining singing directly into his ear and have my voice morph into his through his own mouth. We first attempted this with a plaster version years ago, but now time had come to help bring Joe to his ultimate futuristic form in a 6 ft tall chrome robot version built on a 3D printed plastic base. We had first tried just the innards of a megaphone which yielded not as impressive results sound quality wise, but working with my main tech Dan Mancini, he was able to wire significantly better amplification. But before finishing I thought what if we could put a knob on the ukulele's headstock so that people could make their voices echo. So dan was able to hard wire in our new Third Man Hardware "Troika" echo pedal inside.
