Washington Crossing Historic Park is mentioned in an article titled ‘See How These Artisans Are Recreating the Revolution’. Highlighting the production of a full-scale Durham boat replica that is currently under construction by the friends of Washington Crossing Park. The 40-foot vessel is modeled after the same type of boat used by General George Washington and the Continental Army during their historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776.
