Now I know dogs can’t technically be “vegan” because it’s an ethical moral, not a diet, but they CAN be plant-based because it IS a diet. And if you’re wondering if dogs can thrive on a plant-based diet, the answer is yes! Dogs don’t need meat to thrive. They need specific nutrients and minerals to live their best lives but it doesn’t matter *where* those nutrients come from, and, serving your dog plant-based dog food instead of animal-based can actually be BETTER than them eating meat because their risk for allergies and diseases is much lower.
