This is “Iris”, one of the pieces featured in my New York show “Born to Live”. Iris, named after the perennial flower, is an art piece reborn every year. It changes every quarter of the year. On the last day of the year, Iris d*es. Then on the first day of the new year, Iris is gold, glowing and celebrating the new year. The cycle then repeats. Iris was created by recording various inks and the way they naturally play together. I then turned these videos into NFTs and had them connected to live data. To me, Iris is a beautiful and playful representation of the cycles in life. And a piece I look forward to hanging in my own studio on New Years. #fluidart #inkart #nft
