For the third year in a row, I had the honor of serving as a U.S. Delegate at the Global Summit of Women, this year in Istanbul. The summit brought together women leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from around the world to discuss the issues impacting women in the workplace and in business. What stood out to me most was how much we have in common. No matter the country, culture, or industry, many of the challenges women face are remarkably similar—from leadership opportunities and access to capital to balancing work and family responsibilities. It’s always inspiring to learn from women with different perspectives and experiences, while realizing we’re all working toward many of the same goals.
