But what a lot of you may not realize is that Kappa was that advocate for me when I was 18 years old. A kappa went with me to the hospital, a different kappa went with me to file the police report, and multiple kappas held my hand every step of the way. I could say kappa made me the person I am today, but that just does not do it justice. A better way to word it would be that kappa made me a person again. Fast forward to 2 years post grad and I’m miss missouri. Now I get to give the love that kappa gave to me back then to others experiencing what I did.
