I was back in rosemary_beachfl today for design work.
It was my first time back in quite a while, and my first visit since selling the Rosemary Cottage.
As I drove into Rosemary Beach, I wasn’t sure how I would feel. Would I be sad? Would I feel a longing to be back?
I walked down to the beach and stood at the top of one of the walkovers, overlooking the beautiful dunes and the Gulf. And all I felt, deep in my soul, was gratitude.
I took a deep breath and was overwhelmed with thankfulness for the season we had there, the time spent with my kids and the memories we made on that beach. So many walks, a good cry or two, fireworks, pizza nights with the kids, bonfires, and countless moments of joy.
Our time in Rosemary was healing. It was a season of change and transition in my life, but Rosemary was where I could catch my breath, gain perspective, and celebrate my family. It was pure magic for us.
