Portlanders hankering for a shake and animal-style fries will no longer have to cross state lines to efficiently satisfy their craving. Starting this week, all it’ll take is a (relatively) quick trip to the suburbs. The cult classic California-based burger chain will open its long-awaited Hillsboro location Thursday at 2498 N.E. Town Center Drive. The Tanasbourne Town Center restaurant will be just 10 miles — or, on a good traffic day, less than 20 minutes — outside downtown Portland.
