The SC400 is the most slept-on V8 platform in the drift and stance world and it's not even close. That 1UZ-FE is damn near bulletproof—Toyota overengineered it to the point where 300k miles is just getting broken in. Pair that with V8 torque on a rear-drive Lexus chassis and you've got a platform that makes everything else in the sub-$10k range look like a compromise.
