One of the biggest mistakes I see in hospitality is treating entertainment as a checkbox. Book a singer. Book a DJ. Book a violinist. Fill the slot. Done. But that’s not what great entertainment is supposed to do. Entertainment should move the room. It should make guests look up. Stay longer. Engage more. Create moments worth sharing. And most importantly, give them a reason to come back. The best operators don’t ask: “What performer should we book?” They ask: “What experience are we trying to create?” Because when entertainment is aligned with the concept, the audience, and the venue objective... It stops being a line item. It becomes part of the strategy. The operators who understand this will know exactly what to do. Let’s talk about it.
