ad Unpopular opinion: broken flower pots are better than perfect ones anyway... especially when they become fairy houses. 🪴🧚‍♀️ This might be one of my favourite crafts I’ve made in a long time. And after raiding Dunelmuk ‘s haberdashery section how could I resist this toadstool collection, fully embracing the whimsy not forgetting the Dunelm rechargeable lanterns and sculptural floral stakes (just £12)! Maybe it’s because, as adults, we’re really just grown-up children with the freedom to create whatever we want. And honestly, why shouldn’t we? Life is far more fun when you allow yourself to be a little whimsical. So yes, this tablescape could have been elegant and sophisticated... but wouldn’t that have been a little boring? I can’t stop staring at all the tiny details, and it’s already giving me ideas for a permanent fairy garden feature outside. Tell me honestly... would this be on your dining table, or have I finally gone full fairy-core? After all, growing up is mandatory...
