🎉 2026 Season of Celebration: Max von Muehldorfer – Football (Purple Blanket Profile) 🎉 Max leaves a legacy of hard work and sportsmanship behind as he leaves Western. He is constantly in the gym working to be bigger, stronger and faster than the competition. This showed as he competed nationally as a powerlifter and was the national champion in his age group. Very few defensive tackles have been awarded with a purple blanket in Western’s history, as it is a selfless position that does not usually receive a lot of recognition. He is a two-time OUA All-Star, a 2025 U SPORTS first team All-Canadian, he was recognized as the Callaghan Defensive Line MVP in 2024 and the Western Football defensive MVP this past season. His accolades speak volumes about his impact in intercollegiate athletics and on Western Football history. von Muehldorfer looks to take his game to the next level this summer playing professionally in Germany.
