Imagine Entertainment are developing a live-action sequel to the 2000 holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas. #JimCarrey is reportedly in talks to return as the Grinch, while #RonHoward is expected to return as director and producer alongside #BrianGrazer. Carrey previously described the extensive prosthetic makeup process on the original film as “excruciating,” but has said he’d be open to reprising the role if modern motion-capture technology were used instead of the hours-long prosthetic application that defined the first movie.
