Today, our Interdisciplinary Pre-Med students were fully immersed into the life of a medical student @lsuhealthshreveport! Students received insights about the application process and life as a medical student from Wanda Thomas, MD, FAAP, Associate Dean of Admissions for School of Medicine, Dani Zoorob, MD, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Preston Langley, Director for the Office of Student and Community Engagement. We were also honored to be joined by a fantastic student panel who answered all of our students questions, ranging from MCAT studying tips to the durable skills necessary for success throughout a medical student’s journey. The highlight of our day was a special tour of the campus’s facilities — including their brand new VR anatomy lab!
