A late-night Phoenix pursuit ended back in May after DPS says troopers used a PIT maneuver to stop a driver reaching 130+ MPH. AZDPS says the driver was first spotted just after 1AM on Loop 101 near Indian School Road going around 100 MPH. When a trooper tried to stop the vehicle, DPS says the driver turned off the lights and took off, reaching speeds over 130 MPH while an air unit tracked the car from above. The pursuit continued for miles before ending near 99th Avenue and I-10, where troopers used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
